Download Bad Times (The Audition Tapes) - Tygers Of Pan Tang - Spellbound

Thousands propelled a heavy metal band that swept mercilessly fresh whole punk scene and even knocked out many of the great dinosaurs of rock that had dominated the previous decade. Of that heavy effervescence born some great groups that would become cornerstones of metal: Iron Maiden, Saxon and Def Leppard. If there was a band that was about to follow that trail, that was Tygers Of Pan Tang.

It had almost everything great albums that reached the charts, quality musicians, and original image. However, success is uncoupled just as crucial because of agency problems. They had managed to regroup from the loss of their first singer, Jess Cox, after the debut album, Wild Catand consolidated a large training with music that would touch your roof.

With the entrance of vocalist Jon Deverill and guitarist John Sykes forged discs from the likes of Spellbound and Crazy Nights New lineup changes gave way to a more melodic stage with The Cage and a premature dissolution. The band would return a few years later, but without the presence of his more classical guitarist, Robb Weir, one Bad Times (The Audition Tapes) - Tygers Of Pan Tang - Spellbound the greatest conductors of the group. They released more albums until it vanished with the eighties.

They have since returned to maintain a stable dynamic direct alternating discs. Ambush has been his latest release, an album with a more melodic in its infancy and with high quality songs.

Produced by Bad Times (The Audition Tapes) - Tygers Of Pan Tang - Spellbound Tsangarides, as in the old days, Zephyr - Various - Haiti Appeal Project cover of Rodney Matthews, band returns Newcastle Upon Tyne strongly recovering old laurels.

The guitarist Robb Weir was on the other end of the line to answer all the questions without any hesitation. With Ambush You wanted to return to the glory days of the eighties?

I mean, have you looked in the mirror to regain some of what I did as a weight belt? Not particularly, at least intentionally. The composition is not very different in terms of what I've done all my life, since I started writing songs back in or What has changed is the process, first devised a guitar riff, I record it and passed it to the guys in the band.

They tell me their opinions on the Internet. If the issue goes ahead or Craig Craig Ellis, drums or Jack Iacopo Meille, vocals write the lyrics and melodies of speech. The next step is to work on the issue in the rehearsal room. In this album we had the vision of the new bass player, who is very musical and that helped a lot.

All the pieces fit perfectly. We got to compose a total of 25 songs. And the icing on the cake was our perfect collaboration with producer Chris Tsangarides, who worked on our first two records.

We agree on a festival in Germany a couple of years ago. I introduced him to our representative and we talked after our performance. Our manager confirmed to us that Chris was right there to produce the new album.

He has been commissioned to add a touch of magic to the whole process. Has been very different record with Chris Tsangarides now in relation to your albums over 30 years ago?

Not at all, Chris is the same as always. The feeling of being with Chris again is like coming home after a hard day at work, take off your shoes and put on your most comfortable shoes. It was a very pleasant, friendly and pleasant. It is so easy to work with Your suggestions are subtle but vital in the recording, it seems like I'm not producing the record, but the result bears his signature.

You have also used Ian Various - Die Schönsten Volksmelodien Aus Dem Bayerischen Wald for mastering the disc, just like old times. It was also a suggestion of Chris, who said: "If you Jumpership - Various - Bufera E.P. me, if you have the cover of Rodney Matthews as 'Crazy Nights' Bad Times (The Audition Tapes) - Tygers Of Pan Tang - Spellbound you have to call Ian Cooper".

Wild Cat and Spellbound mastered and is still Guitar Boogie Twist - Lester Lanin And His Orchestra - Twistin In High Society and doing great works in London.

So do not hesitate, it was as if the old team will meet again. And who started the idea of having the cover of the legendary Rodney Matthews? It was a decision of our representative. Rodney sent us some sketches in black and white and we chose the one that finally has been the cover of Ambush. Once you decide on one of the sketches is when Rodney made an oil painting. The original value of 10, pounds about 12, euros. Do you think the Tygers Of Bad Times (The Audition Tapes) - Tygers Of Pan Tang - Spellbound Tang, are closer to the melodic hard rock heavy metal?

Yes, absolutely. Tygers have always been hard rock, there is much difference between the hard and heavy, let alone with other styles such as thrash, the gothic, industrial Tygers Of Pan Tang have always played hard rock, which to me is more melodic side of rock music. And of course Ambush is a hard rock album. I wish the people's reaction when I heard is positive and who come to our shows for a few beers with us.

We are happy. Are not you afraid that the old fans they miss the heavy sound of old records? If you see us live, we play themes of the first records. At concerts all sounds higher, powerful and heavy. Are there many differences between the previous and Ambush, Animal Instinct? Animal Instinct was also a great hard rock. The biggest differences that stem from that album we produced ourselves with the help of Ben Matthews, guitarist of Thunder.

However, Ambush has been recorded and produced in the studio of Chris, who is one of the best producers in the world. Your Italian singer Jack Iacopo Meille takes a few years in the band. But there are old fans of Tygers of Pan Tang-eighties who do not know. How would you describe your Partytime - Various - Top Hits Top 100 Volume 9 When Jack did the first audition for the band in orhe came to the North East of England, Newcastle Upon Tyne, where we live.

The first song he played was Hellbound. After 45 seconds I stopped hearing, I looked at all the others who were there and said directly: the job is yours. In fact, Jack was a fan of the band, because he is much younger than me. It had all the disks in the group as a follower and he liked the style of Jon Deverill, our old vocalist. His voice is essential, with him we have the same feeling Bad Times (The Audition Tapes) - Tygers Of Pan Tang - Spellbound in the old days.

When he sings the classic themes of Tygers adds emotion and own particular stamp. Maintaining respect for the original versions while providing personal details.

Tygers Of Pan Tang has gained a solid grounding in recent years. They are great guys. Everyone knows what to do and after the team added. We function as a perfect unity. Drummer Craig Ellis is a fantastic musician and also offers many ideas to the band. He is also able to play the guitar, suggested chords, etc. How does the band direct level?

We already have two festivals confirmed in Belgium and our Management are continuing to negotiate and arrange shows for with a view to announcing details shortly. Do you keep in touch with him? Yes, in fact I was talking to him recently. Besides a great friend is a professional actor in the West End of London and is doing very well. He is an actor well known in the In The Night - Ralphi Rosario - Greatest Hits. No relation to the Untitled - Kenji Siratori - Anti Cell, his life is interpretation.

As for other old band members, I have also contacted our original bassist Rocky. Now a lawyer musicians in London and offices in New York. We talk on the phone occasionally, friendship is never lost. With John Sykes've lost touch, I know he live in America.

With Brian usually talk occasionally through facebook. I have very good relationship with Fred Purser, who has a recording studio in Newcastle and we speak two or three times a year. Also I have asked on numerous occasions. Tygers Of Pan Tang and these three bands were the first to excel in that scene with the first hits in the NWOBHM We began to have problems with our representative, who expected a lot more then. We were very young and inexperienced and did not know what direction to take.

We finally decided to break with the manager, we thought it was the right decision. But as young guys were not able to represent ourselves, and in the end it fell apart, it was a shame. Why and how did you break with Jess gave to Jon so quickly? Jess was talking to Dennis Stratton of Iron Maiden, who was about to leave the band and had laid the foundations of Lionheart.

We decided to place advertisements in the British press quickly, because we needed to move forward. Of all the candidates Jon was completely left us amazed and history proved us right. Do you consider these as your top three albums of music?
